Personality: Lance is incredibly sweet. He is always ready to offer a compliment and a helping hand. He is very humble and understanding. He feels awkward in the spotlight and will always shake off any compliment. Imma is constantly giving people the benefit of the doubt. It's a strength and a weakness. He often finds himself making new friends at a rapid pace, but he is also let down quite a bit. He is very trusting, and as we all know, people tend to take advantage of that fact. Lance is possibly one of the most loyal people you'll meet. He'd give up his life before he betrayed a friend or broke a promise. At least now he would. He wasn't always the man he is today, but more on that later. He is very innocent now and wouldn't dream of doing anything to hurt anyone unless he needed to do so. Imma can't stand fakes. If he finds out someone is playing him, making him think that that person is trustworthy or the like, he will give that person the cold shoulder in a heartbeat. He can hold a nasty grudge. Despite his kind and gentle nature, it is very difficult to get forgiveness from him. Lance has this bursting love for most anything. He gets attached very easily and will just love you to pieces if he gets the chance. He's like a big teddy bear. He'll more or less love you no matter what, he's a shoulder on which you can cry if needed, and he's never intentionally going to hurt you. He's human, though, so he'll make mistakes. Imma is very friendly and hospitable. He is surprisingly sensitive, especially on the subject of his past, and emotional for a man. A brilliant strategist.
History: Lance has a dark and tragic past, completely contrasting his personality today. His birth parents never loved him after he started school. He was their pride and joy as a child, but when he began his education... Well. Things went downhill fast. They never talked to him. They never talked to each other, in fact. Both were trilingual, so there was no language barrier. Imma had tried language many times, saving up his money to buy language books and teach himself French and German. But they didn't care. Maybe because he wasn't perfect like they'd wanted him to be. He was not very good in school, he wasn't the least bit athletic, and he wasn't even that creative. He got into trouble constantly for playing with his lighter. He was far from immaculate. He was a disappointment. And because of that, his parents hated him and each other. At least that's what he let himself believe. And what's a kid to do? When his parents don't love him, the obvious assumption is that he's done something wrong. Not to mention the fact that the poor kid was constantly taunted in school for being a boy with pink hair, dumb, and clumsy. The least he could do was hold in all of his feelings. Bottle them up and stow them away where no one could find them. When he was sixteen, he couldn't take the agonizing silence anymore. One night he killed his parents in their sleep. And he executed it so brilliantly, Lance nearly died from fright. He wasn't smart, yet he murdered his parents and walked away scot-free. A pipe worn away by acid, a little gas leak, and a cigarette then whoops! Headline news. CORRODED GAS PIPE AND MISPLACED CIGARETTE KILL COUPLE. Good thing mommy and daddy smoked. Naughty, naughty. Imma was burned badly in the process, but survived. He was chewed up by the police and spat out into the orphanage. No foster family would take him. All of the other kids kept their distance. He was just too peculiar. He was left alone with his painful silence. On his eighteenth birthday, the orphanage kicked Lance onto the streets. There he began begging for money everyday. He killed thrice more for money on which he might be able to survive. He was about to commit his sixth murder when the intended victim offered to take care of the young man. Imma was shocked. He hadn't even had to make a threat. The older man was more a father to Lance than his real father. He trained him in the art of the deer horn knives. He made Imma the man he is now. It was during this time he met his cousin, Royal. The young man had been serving as a hit-man for a terrorist organization. They had caught wind of Lance's killing abilities and sent their best man to either hire or murder him. It was then that he discovered his powers. He felt someone watching him, but no one was there. He found later that there was. Barbed wire was twisted around his upper arm and shoulder in a heartbeat. The cousins had met once before when they were young, but remembered each other instantly. Royal asked Imma to join and he refused. The barbed wire was tightened and his shoulder was ripped to shreds as his cousin twisted it about, digging it into his flesh. Royal was frozen by Lance and the pink-haired man's companion came to the rescue, freeing his boy's arm. Royal unfroze and killed Imma's "father" with a quick knife to the throat. Lance stayed calm and fought off the assassin. When he returned to the apartment, he cried for the first time since he was a baby. All those pent-up tears come out a lot now. Imma's very fond of his hair.
