The stage is set in an old run-down ghost town in the middle of nowhere. Somewhere around the area where Nevada, Utah, and Idaho meet. The large Gothic cathedral is the only building that is suited for living. Many of the other houses and businesses are too dilapidated to serve any purpose. A few lucky buildings have three or four walls standing, and a roof in this neglected place is a rare commodity indeed.
The cathedral consists of a huge lobby, a sanctuary a bit larger than an average one, numerous offices, a kitchen, and a mysterious basement in which no one has dared to set foot. The lobby is littered with blankets - makeshift beds of the residents - and very few possessions. Perhaps a notepad or a stuffed animal here or there. The sanctuary is filled with pews with a grand pulpit at the front. The kitchen is in pretty good shape, though there is no electricity. It's simple compared to the rest of the building. A few sinks, counters, a fridge and stove that don't work anymore, and cupboards. Glass windows are everywhere in the cathedral, and most of them have been shattered.
Other places or areas may be created throughout the roleplay.
