Full Name: Pandora Cheyne Watts
Nickname(s): Panda
Preferred Name: Pandora. She'll punch you in the throat is you call her Panda with a few exceptions.
Age: Unknown. She doesn't like to keep track. It's likely she's in her late teens or early twenties, though she is ageless.
D.O.B.: November 4
Gender: Female
Race/Ethnicity: Very American. She is a mermaid.
Skin Tone: Pale
Height: 5'6" without the tail, 6'11" with tail.
Weight: 123 lbs without tail, 208 lbs with tail
Build: She is very slender, but more muscular than she appears.
Eyes: Green
Hair: Blonde
Piercings and Identifying Marks: She has her first piercings in both ears and a spider tattooed on her left thigh. A large, jagged scar runs down her right side.
Weapon/Martial Arts Training: The glove on her right hand contains wire in the fingertips. She can shoot this wire into her enemies and also use it as a type of whip. The wire is flexible, but extremely dangerous and painful when used the right way.
Special Ability: The typical mermaid powers - breathing underwater, growing a tail in water (or rather, growing legs when out of water), and having an enchanting voice. Justice's voice is particularly beautiful. It is unmatched by anyone or anything.
Mental and/or Physical Disabilities: Suffers from Tourettes (her most common tics are sniffling, blinking excessively, the shrugging of her right shoulder, the stomping of her right foot, and the slamming of her left hand). She also has alcohol intolerance and depression.
Phobia(s): None.
Quirk(s): Constantly adjusts her glasses.
Place of Birth: Newport, Vermont
Family: Three older sisters and one younger. Mother and father.
Personality: Pandora is typically shy and awkward around people. Her Tourette's has made her less than popular, to say the least. She is misunderstood and it kills her inside. She hates herself because of what everyone's told her, though she'd never show it. Though she's shy and awkward, she generally looks like she's got herself pinned together nicely. The girl has a short fuse and is quite violent. She's killed many people in cold blood. Most of them men. Most became her dinner. Honestly, she's a mess and often gets herself into trouble in some way, shape, or form. She never really cares, either. She walks away with throngs of dead bodies in her wake. Pandora can basically be described as an all around angry person. She takes out her hatred on other people and frequently finds herself out of reason's control. Life has not been fair to her, so she does her best not to be fair to life. She is incredibly impatient with both people and things. She doesn't like to waste her time. Even though she may have endless hours, she despises being unproductive and spending time on things that don't matter to her. She is a huge risk taker. An adrenaline junkie. She just loves the rush she gets from near-death experiences. Despite her social ineptitude, she is very outgoing. When she's alone, comfortable, or both - as is usually the case - she is a completely different person. But as far as people go, she is extremely distrustful. Anyone can turn on her at any moment and she knows it, so she keeps her distance.
History: Pretty. She hates that word. That's all she's ever been called. Pretty. It's supposed to be a compliment, but to a mermaid, it might as well mean ugly. It was fine if it had meaning behind it. If someone was just trying to avoid any awkwardness in using any word more significant than that. When used regarding her, though, people didn't mean anything more than pretty, though. They'd shrug and say "Pandora? Oh, she's pretty." Then they'd move on with life. Whereas her sisters were called beautiful freely, with the occasional "REALLY pretty" thrown in there. But most of the time they were referred to as "so gorgeous, there are no words to describe them". And Pandora was pretty. That's how it always was. She was an outcast from the moment she entered the world. Her Tourette's made her odd and her looks were nothing notable. It's the same case today for the most part. Even her parents didn't like her. She was the disappointment of the family. Her mother attempted to kill her when she was very young a number of times. Claimed it was an accident every time. But Pandora's father wasn't an idiot. He knew. And he did his best to keep his wife away from his daughter as much as possible, but there wasn't much he could do. After all. He was only human. That's how she received her imperfections. She somehow got his recessive human genes instead of her mother's unnaturally dominant mermaid ones when it came to her looks and health. She didn't blame her father, though. He was the one keeping her alive, how could she? But when she was ten, her mother finally turned on him during a rare argument and killed him. Pandora pleaded for her own life and it was granted. Her mother forced her to work as a servant and the young girl's life became la Cinderella story. Only her sisters weren't the... Pretty ones. And there was no Prince Charming waiting for her at the end. No happy ending. That was clear when she fell head-over-heels for Makism and was heartbroken when she discovered that they could never be together. Because she wasn't good enough. She's never been good enough for anyone, it seems. She can sing her way into the heart of any man. She has the best voice on Earth. But she's still not good enough. When she was sixteen, she ran away from home and started a life on her own, swimming down the coast and living in the waters near Florida. Somewhere along the way she met Makism and she's served as his tag-along ever since.
